How to Log In to 1win — Complete NZ Guide
How to Log In to 1win From New Zealand
This guide covers every login scenario for 1win from a New Zealand player’s perspective — desktop browser, mobile browser, the official iOS app, the Android APK, password recovery, two-factor setup, and what to do when something goes wrong. If you’d rather skip the reading and just sign in, the Login button at the top of any page takes you straight there.
Before You Start
To log in to 1win, you need:
- An existing 1win account (if not, register here — it takes about a minute)
- Your registered email or phone number
- Your password
- A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi recommended over mobile data for first login)
Desktop Login — Step by Step
- Open your browser and go to the official 1win site
- Click the Login button in the top-right corner
- Enter your email or phone number
- Enter your password
- (Optional) Tick Remember me if you’re on a private device
- Click Sign In
You’ll land on the lobby. If 2FA is enabled, you’ll be asked for a one-time code from SMS or your authenticator app before continuing.
Mobile Browser Login
The mobile site is fully responsive and works on Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Samsung Internet. The login flow is identical to desktop — tap the menu icon (top-left or top-right depending on browser), tap Login, and enter your credentials. The mobile lobby loads slightly faster than desktop because images are pre-optimised for smaller screens.
1win App Login — iOS and Android
The official 1win app supports biometric login, which means after your first manual sign-in you can use Face ID, Touch ID or Android fingerprint to log in instantly.
iOS:
- Download the app from the official 1win site (it’s not on the NZ App Store — install via the iOS configuration profile)
- Open the app and tap Login
- Enter email/phone and password
- When prompted, allow Face ID or Touch ID for future sign-ins
Android:
- Download the APK from the official 1win site
- Allow installation from unknown sources (Settings → Security)
- Install the APK and open the app
- Tap Login, enter your credentials
- Enable fingerprint login when prompted
Forgot Your Password? Recovery in 4 Steps
- On the login screen, click Forgot password?
- Enter the email address registered to your account
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) — the reset email arrives within 2 minutes
- Click the link, enter a new password (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers), confirm
The reset link is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, just request a new one. If the email never arrives, your account may be registered to a different address — contact live chat with your registered phone number to recover access.
Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication
We strongly recommend enabling 2FA the first time you log in:
- After login, go to Account Settings → Security
- Click Enable 2FA
- Choose SMS or authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator)
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator (or confirm via SMS)
- Enter the verification code to confirm
From now on, every login requires a fresh 6-digit code in addition to your password.
Common Login Errors and Fixes
- “Invalid credentials” — double-check email and password; passwords are case-sensitive
- “Account temporarily locked” — too many failed attempts; wait 15 minutes
- “Geo-restricted” — your IP is routing through a restricted region; switch to Wi-Fi or use the official mirror
- “Verification required” — KYC is incomplete; you can still log in but withdrawals are paused until ID is uploaded
- “Session expired” — you’ve been inactive for over 30 minutes; just log in again
Logging Out Securely
Always log out on shared devices. Click your profile avatar (top-right) and select Log Out. The session token is invalidated immediately. If you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, log in, change your password, and force-logout all other sessions from the security panel.
When to Contact Support
Live chat is the fastest support channel — typical response time is under 90 seconds, 24/7 in English. Contact them if:
- You can’t recover your password and your registered email no longer works
- Your account has been locked or restricted
- You’re seeing a permanent geo-block message from a New Zealand IP
- You’ve completed KYC but withdrawals are still blocked
Alternatively, email support@1win.co with your registered email and a description of the problem.
Stay Safe — Login Security Best Practices
- Bookmark the official login page and only sign in from that bookmark; never click login links in emails
- Use a unique password for 1win that you don’t reuse anywhere else
- Turn on 2FA
- Enable login notifications so you’re alerted when a new device signs in
- Don’t share your account — multi-accounting is a terms violation and triggers account closure
Responsible Gaming Reminder
Before logging in to play, set your deposit and session limits in account settings. If gambling is causing problems, the Gambling Helpline NZ is free on 0800 654 655, PGF is on 0800 664 262, and 1737 is available for general support 24/7.
Login Help — FAQ
Do I need to be online to log in to 1win?
Yes, an internet connection is required — 1win is fully online. Once you’ve signed in via the app once, biometric login means you don’t need to type your password again, but the connection is still needed to authenticate.
Can I be logged in on multiple devices at once?
Yes, you can log in across desktop, mobile browser and the app simultaneously — your sessions sync. However, for security we recommend logging out on devices you’re not actively using.
How long does my login session last?
Sessions stay active for 30 minutes of inactivity, then auto-expire and you’ll need to log in again. If you tick Remember me, the session can stay open for up to 30 days on trusted devices.
Can I log in with my phone number instead of email?
Yes — 1win lets you log in by phone number or email. Use whichever you registered with.
What if I lost access to my registered email?
Contact live chat with your registered phone number, full name, date of birth, and any other identifying details. Support can verify identity manually and update the email address tied to the account.
